Describe the bug
main code area font doesn't change in Safari

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. View one font
2. View another
3. font in line numbers changes, info box changes, but code font does not change

Expected behavior

• all right hand side should be rendered in new font

• OS: macOS 15.7.2
• Browser: Safari 18.6

Works in my machine (at version 26), and I don't think any related code has changed recently. Do you have any errors in the console that might provide a hint as to what's not working?

• No errors in console
• Network shows font is downloaded
• Font does change for line-number!
• Works in Safari on iOS

I notice that if I "Save to Dock" to get an app that is Safari but for this one site, it does work.

I'm not using any Extensions in proper desktop Safari, or the "Save to Dock" Safari, so I have no idea what could be going on.

You'll get a progressive web app (PWA) in that mode, but we don't do anything special in that situation.

Did it used to work? As in do you remember visiting the site some time ago and it working?

I tend to visit on my iPhone, where it always worked, so I can't recall—sorry.

The desktop standalone "save to dock" workaround is good enough for me.
