Smart Chat error on context with multiple notes

Smart chat is working fine with a single note (@[[note]]) but fails with multiple notes (/Folder/ or semantic search).
Also had no success when reducing the lookup limit, or pointing to a folder with just 2 notes with one line each.

Models: tried with gemini-2.5-pro-exp-03-25 and gemini-1.5-pro-latest.

The most significant error according to Gemini 2.5 is:

Stream error: CustomEvent
error_handler API Error. See console logs for details.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
