Hi,
I'd like to link to a chat or a specific part of a chat. Is that possible?
Second question: How can I save the chat permanently?

Linking to a chat or specific message isn't currently a feature, however, the Smart Chat API integration will soon be integrated into the chat codeblock feature, which would effectively enable a sort of linking from note to chat.

While the chats are technically already saved unless you delete them in the .smart-env folder, I'm assuming you mean something more like "save the chat as markdown/note". Messages can currently be copied individually. A "copy all messages" or "create note from chat" or similar might appear in the future (the request is fairly common).
