Figure out patch process for RTC/Y2K patch disc

I have a CD-ROM with clock patches for NEWS-OS 6 (also seems to have files for 4.2.1R) - I need to figure out the install process and document it.

I was able to successfully apply a few 4.2.1 patches - still need to try OS 6
