I've been eyeing this gem for a while (lots of chatter in the Ruby Discord about it), and after playing with it a bit I'm smitten.
It'd be great not only to benefit from its feature set and streamlined syntax, but also see if we can/need to add a little patch layer to make the API as close to JS' fetch as possible so folks coming from that world get up to speed very quickly.

I'm looking at using this in Freyia, so it'd be cool to get both in sync.
