Brief

Access your company's business context, decisions, and constraints directly within Claude Desktop conversations.

What is Brief?

Brief helps Claude understand your company's business context, past decisions, and constraints. This prevents "off-the-rails" development by ensuring AI recommendations align with your company's policies and decisions.

Setup

  1. Install the extension from Claude Desktop
  2. Configure your Brief workspace settings:
    • Workspace ID: Your Brief workspace identifier (e.g., 'acme-corp')
    • API Token: Your Brief API token for authentication

How to Use

Once installed, simply ask Claude to:

  • "Find business context for this task"
  • "Check if this approach conflicts with our decisions"
  • "Record this architectural decision"
  • "Get implementation guidance for this feature"

Claude will automatically use Brief's tools to provide context-aware responses.
