Connections with attached Lakehouse

Right now it's become pretty common to attach lakehouses (Iceberg, Delta, Ducklake) to a Duckdb or Trino, etc.

Would be great to make ducklake native to duckdb connection since it's not possible to connect to a lakehouse today using any of the engines that support it - rest would be great too.

There's a feature request for hooks that could address this requirement.

However, as lakehouses are becoming a popular architecture choice, maybe we should look into adding native support for them.

@turtleDev wouldn't hook only work for the query but not the materialization portion? It doesn't look like hooks would affect the materialization type.

@Emsu do you mind expanding a bit more what you mean by that? hooks would be SQL queries that would be prepended/appended to the materialized version of the query, whihc would allow us to attach lakehouses before running the query, for instance. wouldn't this solve the problem?
