Logging out problems recurring

Having issues with the app logging me out on android whenever I swap again. Now it has like a 2-3 minute timeout instead of like 30s

I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue on my side. I also use the timer on my Android device regularly and haven’t experienced similar behavior.

Do you think this could be related to a phone/browser setting that clears the device cache automatically? Are you possibly running low on storage?

The application does not have any mechanism that automatically logs you out; the only way to close a session is by pressing the logout button. So this seems likely to be related to something external to the app.

I dont use any of those cache cleaner apps. I'll look more into my settings. Any idea what kinda settings id be looking for? Im using a Samsung Galaxy S25+. I added it to the memory exclusions in device care, we'll see if that does anything? Still logging me out

@d04913767-stack Based on my investigation, this may be related to:

• Samsung’s aggressive background process management (App Standby / Battery Optimization)
• Samsung Internet / WebView cookie handling differences
• Cookies not being sent on the first request after the app is resumed (internal Samsung security)

In any case, there is not much we can do, but would you try using the application directly in the browser on your phone instead of the installed version? Check if it is still logging you out or if it's only in the PWA.

It does the same thing in browser on the phone. But even if it didnt id still use the app cause the whole reason I picked this one is because it had both pc/app versions with save management between both. So far there hasnt been any database issues from it logging me out, its keeping my history, my session, when I log back in at the end of the day, everything's hunky dory when I save. I'll make another issue if that changes. Thanks.
