Unmodded Twitch

• I have checked and this issue only occurs using bttv-android and not with the unmodded Twitch App

What happened?

I’ve been using this app for over a year now, and I’ve never gotten any notifications when the streamers I follow go live. Is this a known issue?

I am also experiencing this issue, as of about a week ago.

BTTV App Version: V0.43.2-beta

Twitch App Version: 28.6.1

Android version: Android 15

Device: OnePlus 12

Everything was working great for me since I installed the app in 2024, its a much better interface, and the additional emotes are great. Unfortunately notifications stopped popping up a little over a week ago, and I have no idea why.

Steps I have tried:
•Clearing BTTV cache
•Clearing all BTTV data
•Clearing Twitch app cache
•Clearing Twitch app data
•Removing and reinstalling BTTV app

None of the above have restored notifications to the app.

I am hoping the Dev is aware of this, and might have a fix in the works soon.

Adding to this, also noticed my notifications have completely stopped about 2-3 weeks ago.

As the above commenter has said, none of the methods worked for me either. Hoping for a fix to this, have missed quite a few livestreams because of the lack of notifications.
