Why does glide use the read contact permission code?

In glide 4.12.0, it is detected that the SDK uses the permission code to read contacts. Can you remove the permission code?

The contacturi sample uses this permission, but it's not declared elsewhere.

If you pass in a contact uri, Glide will use contact APIs to read them:

glide/library/src/main/java/com/bumptech/glide/load/data/StreamLocalUriFetcher.java

. If the app has already obtained the contacts permissions it'll work, if not it'll fail.
