Choppy performance on V2.2

The new "ON/OFF to show floating layer window" feature is great! Makes it so much easier to setup and use!

But...playing the same 2048x2048px 30fps h264 video in V2.1 plays smoothly but in V2.2 it cant play at 30fps and drops frames.
I've tested this on a fresh install of both versions. I've also tried to encode the video to h265 but it made no difference.
I've also tried to enable nvdec decode and i can see in task manager that it now uses the GPU but i still get choppy playback.

Computer specs:
i5-13600K
32GB RAM
1TB NVME
RTX 3080 10GB
Windows 11 Pro 25H2

Thanks for the feedback! How are you using C-Play?
With a master and node setup, and if so what is the configuration?

Could you try the latest binary release I just uploaded (that replaces the old 2.2).
I reverted some binary packages that C-Play is using to see if the playback becomes better.

I tried the new version you uploaded but the video still stutters.
I don't use a specific master/node setup. Just run the C-play.exe file after install -> Open File -> Play.

When i ran the same thing on my work PC last week I don't think i had any stuttering, which is strange but I'll have to double check that.

C-Play also does not use and crazy amount of resources (does not seem to be a lack of resources) and the RAM usage is about 15MB more for 2.2 vs 2.1, not much but more
2.2: ~673MB RAM
2.1: ~648MB RAM

Hi again! Sorry, debugging took some time (and I had very little time to do it before this evening).
I think I have found some rendering iterations that where redundant, so I hope the choppy performance you experienced is gone now (or at least an improvement). Uploaded and changed the release with these minor changes, so just download again (fine to replace only the exe file).
