With this version, the NGS TPU Tool has been renamed cBLUE (comprehensive Bathymetric Lidar Uncertainty Estimator). Major changes are listed below:

  • ported from Python 2 to Python 3
  • adoption of GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) v2.1
  • documentation is included in docs/html
  • new GUI layout and menu options
  • redefinition of classes to align with major TPU processing steps
  • refactoring of code to decouple evaluation of Jacobian and data to evaluate Jacobian
  • added progress bars to loading trajectory data and single- and multi-processing TPU
  • moved certain parameters from source code to json configuration file
  • added to information stored in json log file, including specified sensor model
  • added informational popup window asking user to verify specified nominal water-surface ellipsoid height
