My respects to the developers first.
I wanted to bring to your attention issue #4187, in case it hasn’t yet been reviewed by the developer team.
The issue suggested about using elytra auto-flight in the dimensions other than the Nether.
As stated in the issue:
"This would undoubtedly make the mod much, much better, as it would not only be a mining and auto-build mod, it would be an exploration mod and that would attract a different audience, therefore more downloads and therefore more donations."
So far, 13 different users have shown their support for this idea, indicating strong community interest. It would be great to know if this feature is being considered or is in development.
Once you’ve reviewed this issue, please proceed to #4187 for further consideration.

Actually, someone (who has not previously contributed to Baritone) has started work on this in february and judging by their show-off video the main feature is working

The required changes are mostly in nether-pathfinder, which is why there is no sign of that work to be seen here so far.
As far as I can tell the the missing changes are mostly adjusting some details and making sure nothing crashes, however progress seems to have slowed down during the last couple weeks.
