There are some default schemes in /usr/lib/python3.13/site-packages/caelestia/data/schemes. You can set the scheme either using the cli (caelestia scheme set -n <scheme name>, see caelestia scheme set -h for more info) or the launcher.

The dynamic scheme pulls colours from your wallpaper and generates a material scheme for it.

If you want to make your own colour scheme, a scheme file is just a text file with the colour names and values in the format

name hex
...

The hex code is without the # and the colour names can be found in the existing schemes.

There is no support for custom schemes for now, however if you make one feel free to ping me and I'll add it to the preexisting schemes!
