copy screenshot directly to clipboard instead of gui

Hi guys!

Firstly, I wanna thank everyone who helped in making this beautiful setup!

I wanted to know, is there a way to configure the default keybinds for region screenshots, Super+Shift, S, to directly copy it to the clipboard instead of opening the swappy gui?

I tried using grimblast and it worked. But, it doesn't use the animations that the default caelestia one does.

Any idea?

You can add these to ~/.config/caelestia/hypr-user.conf.

unbind = Super+Shift, S
bind = Super+Shift, S, global, caelestia:screenshotFreezeClip

This doesn't seem to work? I did this and now not even a picker appears? Like nothing seems to happen?

This global shortcut (caelestia:screenshotFreezeClip) was added 3 weeks ago, so maybe you need an update.

I installed the shell via AUR.

It seems to be on the latest version through it. Should I install it manually instead?

Just install caelestia-shell-git for AUR. If you already installed it, reinstall to get update.
