Burever BE1 (FTMS) - Resistance locked / Cannot override manually

I have a Burever BE1 smart bike (connected with "FTMS Bike" enabled in settings). The bike sends a fixed resistance value of 40 continuously. I am unable to manually change this value using the QZ interface to calculate watts.

Got the issue: do you have an app that can control it already? Like kinomap for example?

Hi,
Yes, the suggested app is called FitShow. I attached a screenshot of a quick workout.
As you can see, it reads the Cadence (50 rpm) and shows a "Level" of 0, but it doesn't show any Power/Watts data at all.
Since it's a spin bike with a physical mechanical knob, I think the bike just sends a dummy/fixed resistance value via Bluetooth.
I don't need QZ to read the bike's resistance. I just want QZ to completely ignore that incoming value so I can manually use the + and - tiles on the QZ screen to set the resistance/inclination and calculate virtual Watts.
Can we force a manual override to bypass the bike's dummy data?

Google is very slow in these days, reviewing the app on the store, even the beta ones. For this reason, in order to check right now if the patch that I did is right, you can use the android build in the link (check at the bottom of the page in about 1 hour). In order to test it you need first to remove the current QZ version on your phone, install the one that you downloaded.
This version is a 15 minutes trial (you can restart it as many times as you want) and I can unlock it if you want, send me an email to roberto.viola83@gmail.com mentioning this ticket and that you are on android.

Thank you so much for the super fast patch!
However, I am using an iPhone (iOS), not an Android device.
Is there a TestFlight link I can use to test this patch on my iPhone, or do I need to wait for the official Apple App Store update to be approved?

I did a clean restart of the app and made sure no other devices were connected, but unfortunately the Cadence is now completely dead. It stays at 0 RPM even when I pedal.
It seems the patch successfully blocked the dummy resistance, but accidentally blocked the cadence payload as well. Could you tweak the filter to let the cadence data through?
Let me know if you need a new debug log recorded with this current version! I attached a screenshot.

Here is the new debug log.
During this log, I was pedaling continuously for about 20-30 seconds, but as you will see, the cadence on the screen stayed at 0. I also pressed the resistance +/- buttons to show that part is working now.
Let me know if you spot the blocked cadence channel!

thanks @giovanni510 yes indeed I need to modify the parser because it seems a variant of the classic protocol.
Could I ask you to create a new debug log from qz, even if you don't see anything in qz, where:

• you keep a costant cadence more or less (tell me which value)
• you change the resistance from the app (if it's working) from the min to max and to the min again
• you change the resistance from the bike from the min to max and to the min again
