[REQ]Apple Watch Fake Device

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

1. When using to capture non-equipment Peloton workouts, activity in Strava records as 'bike'.
2. You said you wanted to add a treadmill and rower simulation too. Is that for organizing tiles? (Is there already a request open to make all the tiles visible for drag and dropping or is the resolution to temporarily reduce UI zoom.)

Describe the solution you'd like

1. Have non-bike workouts record as "workout" in Strava.
2. Create option under Fake Watch to select Tread, rower or bike.
3. Change name from Apple Fake Watch Device to "Eqpt. Simulation Mode" or "Fake Device" (as an Apple Watch user I don't understand how this setting is related to Apple Watch. Anyone with or without Apple Watch can use this setting so it is not an intuitive name).
   Describe alternatives you've considered
   Edit every class entry to change from Bike to Workout or Yoga.

A little recap about the born of the "Apple Fake Watch Device" setting.
It was releated to #120 and it was about streaming the HRM from an apple watch to any other 3rd party apps. From this the name of the setting :)

Now a lot of people, including you @janabouc , are using this for different purposes

1. doing strength workout
2. changing the tile of the bike profile without having a real bike connected
3. test and debug (me and the other developers)

So in order to cover your request, we have to 2 different approach.

1. giving the possibility to change the type of device simulated (combobox or different boolean selection?)
2. select somewhere, which type of activity on strava using

Finally I totally agree with you that the "Apple Fake Watch Device" needs to be renamed.
Maybe we can rename it in "Fake Device" setting and adding a combo box with

1. Fake Bike Device [default in order to preserve the compatibility]
2. Fake Treadmill Device
3. Fake Rower Device
4. Fake Elliptical Device
5. Fake Strenth Device
6. Fake Yoga Device

I can post on Facebook with an explanation of how to use but I think if it is easy to make a combo selection box with those options I’d say just do it and explain after it’s done. I suggest to change Strength to Weight since that’s what Strava calls it and add Workout for classes like Core, Boxing, Dance etc. I think you can delete the words Fake and Device from the list of options like this: *Fake Device* “Select Device or Class Type” 1. Bike 2. Treadmill 3. Rower 4. Elliptical 5. Weight Training 6. Workout 7. Yoga
