Research Task - Move Data Quality charts from Digest to Reports

Research Task

Deprecate RT data quality charts form GTFS Digest:

• Spatial Accuracy
• VP per minute
• Percent of Trip with 2+ VP per minute

• Relevant PR (if applicable): TBD

• Data Required:

  • Currently have: GTFS data pre-processed in funnel, at trip level
  • Need: Stage the data so it is usable in Reports site

• Research Required:

  • What does it take to stage the underlying data for the reports site?
  • Are the metrics designed here consistent with the CA Transit Data Guidelines, or do the standards come from elsewhere?
  • How do the dates of data used for GTFS digest align or not align with the days used for Reports?
  • Do we need to present these metrics at the agency level for Reports, or is it feasible to present it at the route level as shown on Digest?

• Metrics: the ones currently on GTFS Digest

• Expected Outputs / Findings:

• * removed RT data quality charts from GTFS digest.
• * New RT data quality charts on Reports

Closing as not planned - Evan's team (maybe Tiffany/Farhad) will be exploring new RT data quality visualizations, potentially for Reports, in the second half of the year
