Migrating to v5: Package subpath './commands' is not defined by "exports" in node_modules/@callstack/repack/package.json

Hello,
I am trying to upgrade Repack in my project from v4 to 5.0.0-rc.10. After installing everything as per the README (including the Nativewind webpack plugin), when I run my app, I now see the following error:

Package subpath './commands' is not defined by "exports" in /my-project/apps/host/node_modules/@callstack/repack/package.json

Btw, I also get the same error when I run npx pod-install.

I have tried changing the content of the react-native-config.js file from:

module.exports = {
  commands: require('@callstack/repack/commands'),
};

to

const repackCommands = require('@callstack/repack/commands');
module.exports = {
  commands: repackCommands.filter((command) =>
    command.name.startsWith('webpack')
  ),
};

but no luck.
I also tried removing and re-installing node_modules via yarn.

System info:
Node: v18.20.0
"@callstack/repack": "5.0.0-rc.10"
"@callstack/repack-plugin-nativewind": "^5.0.0-rc.7"
"react-native": "0.74"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi, this is not documented yet but you have to adjust that path in react-native.config.js

If you want to use Rspack (recommended):

module.exports = {
  commands: require('@callstack/repack/commands/rspack'),
};

or if you want to keep using webpack:

module.exports = {
  commands: require('@callstack/repack/commands/webpack'),
};

Hi, yes thanks I figured that out.
My dev server now compiles but when running on Android I see an empty white screen with no error message in the logs, i.e my home screen no longer renders.

Any idea why that may be ?
