Currently, agent relationships, agent attributes, and environment properties are defined through JSON and CSV files. While functional, this approach can be difficult for non-technical users and limits the accessibility of OASIS to a broader audience. I propose introducing a UI-based configuration system that allows users to visually define and edit:
- Agent attributes (e.g., personality traits, behavioral profiles, initial states)
- Social graph relationships (e.g., follow, mute, trust levels)
- Environment settings (e.g., activation probabilities, recommendation algorithms, action spaces)
This UI should support import/export functionality to maintain compatibility with existing workflows, while also enabling real-time editing and visualization of agent interactions. This enhancement will significantly improve usability, reduce onboarding time, and empower users to design more complex and realistic simulations without requiring deep technical expertise.
