[ENHANCEMENT] Question: is K8s version 1.28+ already supported?

Describe the use case:

This issue is more of a question, but might lead to an enhancement request if the answer is no: is K8s version 1.28+ already supported?

I'm asking because I saw that the Github Action tests use K8s 1.27. Can you already tell if it is safe to deploy the Helm chart to a K8s cluster with version 1.28+?

Desired outcome and acceptance tests:

The expected outcome would be to have the GH-Action tests run with K8s 1.28+, maybe even in some kind of matrix for the supported versions.
Also, a section about compatibility with the different K8s version would be great.

We have that in our roadmap and expect to implement it in our CI during the Camunda 8.6 cycle.

Hi @aabouzaid,

we are running Zeebe on AWS EKS. Starting next week (on 24.07. specifically), AWS charges an "extended support" fee for k8s clusters <=1.27.
Is there any update on Zeebe's 1.28 support?

@robsman As planned, it will be part of Camunda 8.6 (which will be released in Oct 2024).
However, we are generally unaware of any combability issues with K8s 1.28.

This issue is quite old. And by now we definitely run on k8s v1.28 and newer.
