8.8 Optimize OIDC endless redirect

Describe the issue:

We discovered on 2025-09-25 that the OIDC setup was not working anymore. While pods are up engineer got a 404 accessing the orchestration cluster. While this was fixed, Optimize seems to be in an endless redirect loop.

Hypothesis:

Likely the redirect is redirecting to the redirect

The is the issue with optimize, that’s one thing. My other worry is the general keycloak vs entra code in the helper.tpl. While the values gives a static view for QA, I do wonder it all the possible settings are correct or if sometimes with use keycloak values when entra is expected

Actual behavior:

When trying to access Optimize, user gets in a endless redirect loop.

Expected behavior:

Access to Optimize possible without redirect loop

How to reproduce:

Was reported on 2025-09-25 using SNAPSHOT of that day.
