Looks like the OCI image doesn't set working directory.

WORKDIR/WorkingDir is indeed not set.

It would be nice for it to be /workdir by default, for compatibility with other container tools, like whalebrew etc.

However, setting -w /project doesn't help, so the problem should be somewhere else.

The workdir is not set on the image because it's set on the pebble service, so it's probably not the issue

You do need to uncomment the base: key, and use the 8_core22 image instead. The 8_core24 image can only build core24 snaps

There is no real need to use old base, so I changed to base: core24. Still no luck.

@tigarmo so I had to set SNAPCRAFT_BUILD_ENVIRONMENT=host and PATH=/usr/libexec/snapcraft:$PATH (which is what pebble does) to see the log. The question is - why these are not part of the Docker image that has one job? It would help a lot with problems like these.
