Bug Description
Operating Ubuntu 24.04 on MacBook Pro vintage 2012 and successfully added Vizio TV as second monitor with MacBook internal monitor as control.. After turning Vizio monitor off in display setup (it disappears as monitor), System will not operate without Vizio TV plugged in and turned on. Boot without Vizio, the program goes to a blank screen until Vizio is plugged in then continues to boot. Back in the multi-display menu, turning off the Vizio monitor and unpluging it produces a blank screen until plugged back in. Although having the Vizio monitor is great, it defeats the mobility of the laptop. So how can I change the multi-monitor mindset of Ubuntu????
To Reproduce
Add a second monitor
try to return to just the original monitor
program goes to blank screen
Environment
Not sure about charm, running Ubuntu 24.04 recent update..
Relevant log output
No output, only blank screen.
Additional context
No response
