I have recently processed DJI drone footage which provides subtitle data with for example GPS positions, which seems to be available at a resolution of one per second. Even without interpolation annotating any image between which an estimated GPS position that might already help recovery.
I have attached my proof of concept, I might give it a shot to integrate it.
