bug: app check debug provider not working (simulator)

Describe the bug
On the current project, I am encountering an error when attempting to retrieve a Firebase App Check token in my iOS app.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the iOS app.
2. Navigate to the screen where the Firebase App Check token is requested.
3. Click on the "Get Token" button.
4. Observe the error message.

Expected behavior
I expected to successfully retrieve the Firebase App Check token without any errors.

Any update on this? I'm having the same issue. My app is not working with App Check. I tried the development option and also the production option building with --configuration=production.

I have two questions:

1. This error only occurs when running on simulator? Unfortunately I don't have any real iOS device to test.
2. If I upload my app in this situation to App Store, will it be able to work?
