Status bar is transparent

Hi. Is there a way to prevent the status bar and navigation buttons from becoming transparent during scanning? I'm writing an application where I set these elements using:

async setBarStyle(theme) {
    await EdgeToEdge.setBackgroundColor({color: theme ? '#2E3951' : '#ffffff'});
    await StatusBar.setStyle({style: theme ? Style.Dark : Style.Light});
}

but unfortunately during scanning, the scanner makes them transparent

Not sure if I get the problem. The status bar is not transparent on my test devices.
