Admin can add and remove attendees after sign-up deadline #226

If the admin (creator of the event) is the contact person for that event, an attendee could potentially contact them to be removed late from the event or add late sign-ups (stragglers) to the event.

This would be nice to have so the admin can have full control and overview of the attendees when changes occur after the deadline, i.e., that the admin is the contact person for changes after the event, and is responsible for updating the attendee data.

Potential Implementations:

Add late attendees:

  • the admin can go through the form for the late attendee and fill in their user information
    • problem: how does this affect GDPR if an admin "consent" on behalf of a user? Therefore, what about:
  • the admin can create a unique link for late attendees to sign up for. The link can be shared and is open, even though the event is "closed" for everyone else without the link.

Remove attendees:

  • the admin can remove the attendees
    • potential problem: will this also remove their "allergies or preferences" if the current implementation has no relation between an attendee and their provided allergies or preferences?
