Reading New Card Formats

Card.io currently does not seem to work with the new credit card formats where they put the all the info (numbers, name, exp date) on the back of the card.

I've come across 2 different layouts

1. Numbers are on single line (ex: new Citi cards)
2. Numbers are broken into 4 sets of 4 and vertically stacked. (ex: CapitalOne Venture cards)

Would be great if Card.io could recognize these.

I agree with ryedog,...see new CapitalOne format.

Adding non-embossed, non-traditional format credit cards is indeed something that we would like to do.

However, this is a very large task, which will involve collecting appropriate videos of many such sample cards, considerable experimentation with the algorithms for detecting the card numbers from these samples, and, finally, working on the machine-learning aspect of identifying the digits. We do not expect to accomplish this in the foreseeable future.
