OG StreamMaster - why was it taken down? Are the OG devs on this project, too?

First I think big thank you for whoever rescued this project and brought it back to life here. Seems like it did a lot of people a favour.

I've only just found this repo (after messing with Threadfin the last few days) and getting annoying by performance issues with Jellyfin and trying to find solutions.

Why was the OG StreamMaster taken down? Was it copyright strikes? Something else? I know gossip isn't helpful, but trying to judge how "alive" this is going to be in the future.

I don't think anyone really knows, or haven't voiced it yet at least.

It's as alive as people are willing to contribute. I can from time to time.

Though I think some of the discussion at #1 might cover some of your questions in a bit more detail.
