It's an Open Source project, so do as you see fit 😊 You're also welcome to contribute it here when you have things running, or otherwise update the docs/README here to point to your repository to help others discover this way of running StreamMaster. I think it's a great idea to offer these other ways to run this.
I'm not sure. At least for me, running StreamMaster in Docker on an LXC it is under 200MB for the entire LXC (though not much configured in StreamMaster). I wonder if StreamMaster is processing a bunch of things that's using up all the RAM? You might need to inspect memory usage within the container to try locate the problem area. |

I hope you don't mind, but I didnt have any device in my home to run Streammaster so I fired together a Home Assistant addon for it.

It works pretty good but I am trying to think of ways to reduce its memory footprint as it can use up to 2GB of memory even when no clients are streaming. If there are any ideas please let me know ;)
I tried some things like this but they have no effect on memory used it seems.
