Channel Logos Not Automatically Imported / Displayed in EPG from HDHomeRun

Hello,

I’m using Jellyfin with a HDHomeRun tuner and relying on the system’s EPG (XMLTV) import to automatically fetch channel metadata, including logos.

However, I’ve noticed that although the channels and program guide data appear correctly, the channel logos are not showing up at all in the EPG interface.

From what I understand, the system (HDHomeRun + Jellyfin) should automatically import and display logos without the need to manually edit the XMLTV file to add tags or URLs.

I’m not interested in manually modifying the XMLTV guide file to add logos — this should be handled automatically.

Could you clarify:

Is there supposed to be an automatic process that fetches and associates channel logos from HDHomeRun or the guide source?

If yes, is there a known issue causing logos not to appear?

Are there specific configuration steps needed in Jellyfin to enable automatic logo import and display?

If this feature isn’t supported, is it planned or recommended to support automatic logos for HDHomeRun users?
