Bug: duplicate EPG files

Describe the Bug

After a period of time, many identical EPG files are always automatically created.

Steps to Reproduce

**After adding the EPG file, you don't need to do anything else. Just check the list of EPG files again after a few days.

Is it only the GitHub based EPG file that is doing this? I've had EPG's for a long time in my test environment where I don't see identical EPG files. There must be something more to this than is detailed in the steps to reproduce.

I wonder if the URL that has been entered, is redirecting in such a way that causes a new URL to be made (like an updated commit hash) that results in new entries each time.
