Not sure if this would still be a problem with a cleaner modern plugins folder (IE sc4pac), but with my archaic datpacked folder I still like to use sometimes, I've noticed some inconsistencies with Cache building.
Specifically for example, the props from the 'EHRW 4 Cosmetic mod' and the 'NAM Facelift' mod will be skipped or ignored if in the main Plugins folder alongside the rest of the plugins, but if I put just those two packages in a clean Plugins folder (with the necessary DLL packages), the props are correctly cached and show up in-game.
Initially, the individual prop files (onslope.sc4desc, ect) did not show up in the log. After using Reader to combine all of the desc and model files into a dat, this dat does show up in the log and is recorded as being (7 exemplars) processed. The props still don't show up in the GUI, though.
I did a search for some of the TGIs on the log file to see if any of it was explicitly skipped as being a duplicate, but nothing came up.
So not sure if a largely datpacked folder is just inappropriate for the Cache Builder or if it could happen in other circumstances as well.
Correction, the "Neko_Overpass' props do show up (in a full Plugins folder) after moving the props to a different folder (starting with 'a' instead of 'z', not sure if that is relevant) and running the Cache Builder, the ERHW4' props still do not, though.
The GUI reports 'showing 53075 of 53134 props'. Not sure if the ones missing from that total are the props in question.
Thanks.
