Your database is superb
At first look, I see that measurements have been taken for h264 and h265, on CPU and GPU.
I see that you have also gone much further in proposing an entire LCA model.
Technology evolves fast
Since you took these measurements last year, the av1 and vvc codecs have entered the race in force.
Based on the strengths and limitations of MVCD and COCONUT, I have embarked on a unification project to measure video encoding and decoding.
I don't want reinvent the wheel
I am creating the Mendevi dataset and visualization tool, which provides the most comprehensive measurements possible and attempts to bring together as many models as possible.
I intend to fill in the gaps in existing databases, but also to reuse methods that have proven effective.
I need your experience
As it has been a year since you proposed this database, you now have some perspective on it. Could we discuss it so that I can benefit from your experience? You can join me at "robin.richard 'at sign' inria.fr"
