As a developer, I would like to have a detailed design document for the new line graph API.
Motivation
So that the design considerations and choices are finalized before implementation.
Definition of Done
We'll know we're done when we have a document detailing the design for the new API, containing pseudocode, object prototypes, flowcharts and any other visualizations of the design.
