Hi , this module is limit the total connection for whole upstream backend, right? If I want config to limit the
number of conn for each backend server, how can I do?

no, this module is designed to limit connections to each backend server, not the whole connections' number of an upstream

But the config focus on an upstream which will applied to all backend server in upstream module. I have check the code, if we config the limit=20. then each server connections can not get more than 20 connections.
Sorry, I have learned nginx just few weeks. Please give me the details for this feature.

now i understand that you want to give different limitations to each back-end server, and this module does not work like that.
to implement this feature, you will have to do some changes in this module:

1. the values of limit field for back-end server have to be saved independently, so probably we have to add some new structures for each back-end server, and these structures can be referred by lmcf.
2. if we will decide whether the number of connections for a back-end server has reached its limitation, we have to refer to lmcf first to get the limitation for that server, then compare that number with current number of connections.
3. of course, we have to change the directive system. it is not easy to design a convenient directive for that, but it is not hard to make one working.
