Support for HDL and HPC file extensions

For hardware design we use files with the following endings, for example:

• *.sv "dyn.ah62d4rv4ge81g7xk"
• *.svh "dyn.ah62d4rv4ge81g7xk"
• *.slurm

i was about to edit the /Applications/Glance.app/Contents/Info.plist file to add my file's kMDIIteContentType, but cannot find the field where to add them.
As far as i understood from the docs, i need to add them under QLSupportedContentTypes, but there is no such field listed in my current Info.plist.

As I cannot find this field QLSupportedContentTypes, i'm not sure where to add them.
Should i just add this field? if yes, what is the syntax?

You are looking at the wrong Info.plist file. The file to edit is the file QLPlugin/Info.plist in the Glance code source. You then need to rebuild Glance from source if you want to test this on your machine.

Rebuilding seems to require an xcode install on Sequoia (can be done quite easily by just opening xcode.app and asking to install the macos components) and it seems to be configured out of the box to use a go install from Homebrew. With that a Product>Build from xcode should succeed once you open the Glance.xcodeproj file with xcode.

It would be good to add some build instructions to the docs (could not spot any).
