Describe the bug

1. The first picture shows an original test uploaded version of picture.

2. The second picture shows a conversation.

3. The third picture shows wrong sizing/ scaling of picture.

The note is my own system of organisation for view the source of the image

I tried app from google play version：4.3.0
This is not fixed yet.

It looks like this happens because contentFit="cover" is being used in the image component. Changing it to contentFit="contain" fixes the issue for both Android and iOS by maintaining the correct aspect ratio.

The files affected are:

• ImageBubble.android.tsx
• ImageBubble.ios.tsx
• QuoteReply.tsx

This also seems to address #953

Hey folks — I’m experiencing the same problem.

On the Chatwoot mobile app, incoming images are displayed cropped/cut off (looks like a center-crop / “cover” behavior), especially noticeable with QR-code images.

In my case this happens on a self-hosted Chatwoot instance with WhatsApp via Evolution API.
