Hi @SIRMuzyka1. "Free Claude" can mean several different connections in OmniRoute, and the fix depends on which one you have, so I need a bit more. If you were using OpenCode Free, that one broke for everyone yesterday: OpenCode now rejects free-tier requests that do not come from its own CLI, with a 403. It is tracked in #13935, the proposed fix is #13937, and no configuration on your side works around it. Kiro carries Claude models and is the closest replacement for now. If it is anything else, reply with:
With that I can give you a concrete answer instead of a guess. |

@tcat88511-cmd both errors in your paste are expected on 3.8.50, and #13935 does not need reopening: the fix is real, it just has not reached you yet.
On "it should switch to a working model": it did. Your error lists two targets, which means the combo tried both and both were OpenCode. Failover cannot leave the pool you gave it. If the combo only contains If you paste the combo name and its targets I can check whether something else is skipping candidates before dispatch. |

@tcat88511-cmd — follow-up: the fix is now reachable without building from source. Worth re-reading my earlier point once you are on the new image: if your combo only contains |

I still have the issue after cloning and building from the repo (commit 8ad6b1c (grafted, HEAD -> release/v3.8.52, origin/release/v3.8.52, origin/HEAD)). |

@ebouther That's the same refusal described in #14139, and it's expected for that request: OpenCode's free tier only accepts requests that look like the OpenCode client, and a plain "hello" from a test box or playground carries no tools, so it's refused with that 403. Being on a fresh build of the 3.8.52 branch doesn't change it. Two things that work: send the request from a real client that declares its tools (OpenCode, Claude Code, an agent), because OmniRoute learns the accepted tool names from those and reuses them; or, for tool-less requests, set |

Closing for inactivity -- feel free to reopen if you still hit this, or open a fresh issue with a current log. Thanks! |
