Justification for the default value of the intersect_radius EdgeToFace value?

Hi,

Thanks for such a nice library. I find it very useful. I was wondering what the explanation was for the 1.5 angstrom threshold for the intersect_radius value in the EdgeToFace interaction? To me, this seems a bit strict. But, I wanted to understand the rationale before modifying it.
