Thinkpad E14 Gen4 - Your device is not supported

First of all: Thank you, my other one, the new Thinkpad, has now a much nicer boot logo.

Problem is the "old" one, the Thinkpad E14 Gen4

It runs under Opensuse 15.6 with the newest bios available, 1.34

Changer drops this error while the gui displays "Your device is not supported"

[ERROR] read lbldvc_var failed: variable not found: LBLDVC-871455d1-5576-4fb8-9865-af0824463c9f

Thanks for the feedback! Glad the new ThinkPad is looking good. As for tp e14 g4, this seems to be a linux-specific issue.
I have a tp x13 g4 with a win/ubuntu dual-boot, and I've reproduced the exact same error on my ubuntu system. The tool works without any issues on Windows, though.

I'm still investigating the underlying cause for this on Linux. In the meantime, if you are able to switch back to a Windows environment, it should work perfectly.

Thanks for you instant reply.

I may add information about the "new" E14 G 7 , installed win10 first for several reasons and used you tool in the win-version

And it did not work on the first attempt, but on the 2nd.

When I remember correctly, the linux-version worked after I exchanged windows.

I regret not to have the device here (bureau) for verification, but can add this info later
