The packages within this repository are maintained by a small team of volunteer Community Maintainers, in their own time. Their time, like yours is important. Please help them by not wasting it.

The 7zip package is currently pending an update, and it has a dependency on this package with a label of version 26.1.0.

It seems that the package that 7Zip provides is of version 26.0.1 and has been released on 2026-04-27. Waiting for a package of version 26.1.0 seems like a long wait and there's been a CVE detection in older versions which is why i'd like to update through chocolatey. Could this be taken up with the maintainers of this package?

Edit: Opened a PR myself and seems the links in the previous PR caused 404 errors in the downloads. Fixed that and hope the update can be released soon.
