Incorrect menu showing in panel when switching languages

Using Kirby 5.1.2, Navigation 5.0.8, multilingual setup.

My menu is on a tab in site.yml. When I switch the language in the panel, the navigation UI shows the structure of the default language menu but with blank text. Only when I reload the page I get the correct menu for that language. I have the same behaviour with both multilang settings.
