Can't open files.

This worked beautifully until after the sublime text 3 major version upgrade. Now I get this error.
"Could not run git command. Ensure you have git properly installed: b'Not a git repository\nTo compare two paths outside a working tree:\nusage: git diff [--no-index] \n' "
Git is working. Is there anything further I can give you to help fix it?
