android-messages-desktop 3.1.0 no longer working since update to Ubuntu 24.04 #309
Description
since upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04 Android-Messages-desktop for linux no longer works. Attempting to report bia Bug Reporter fails with message "package is not installed" Ubuntu Software states "package information not available" but synaptic states it is installed with all dependencies. The files and desktop icon still exist. Have attempted installing via Snap and Deb. Snap says "unable to install". Deb claims it's already installed and up to date, but clicking "open" does nothing.
Is there another way to install to Ubuntu? Should I try reinstalling via Synaptic?
Google Messages for Web does working via a tab and QR code signin.
