@cleverca22 please may I ask about the status of the librerpi fork?

I have been looking forward for years for when this project becomes ready as a real-world replacement for the proprietary blobs, so the raspis can finally be used with 100% free (libre) software.

Please may I ask what still needs to be done before this can happen?

Is the project more of a hobby project?

Would more contributors help the project move along faster or is there some other bottleneck?

Thank you very much for working on this, it's incredibly important as it's the last step to fully liberating the rpis.
