Feature request: The option to save forum threads

At that moment, when I started tracking on the forums, I got "Cannot see any messages". It would be nice to be able to save all threads from a forum without opening each individual thread. Also, the tracked threads to be grouped under its forum.

It would be nice, but I don't have a personal need for archiving forums/threads, so it probably won't happen for a few years, if ever.

ah. I achieved this the other day with some GPT tinkering. got it to flick around each forum post by itself. Will see if I can find what I changed to make it happen

Accepting a pull request means I have to review, test, and then maintain that feature forever. I'm not interested in spending time on any features I don't personally need.

Discovered a workaround: You can save a single thread at a time if you open a thread, click the Copy Link button and go to the URL, which opens the thread like a normal channel that DHT can track.

Right now what i see is that i can totally save forums and threads and have been able to do so since the new version that uses a database file instead of a text file but i have (as stated above) needed to select each thread to follow and each forum conversation and each single thread appears and is treated as a "different channels" in the viewer rather than part of the channel that they are supposed to appear into.

I have no huge problem with this setup as of this time.

But yes, it would be (much) better if they appeared as part of the original channel as a sort of "nested"/"interrupted" conversation where once the thread is found it is followed then the script returns to the original conversation and continues there.

And similarly for forums it would be nice if the script would follow each different conversation.

At this stage i consider it a "non-essential" but certainly "QoL improving" feature.
