KDE Plasma Media Contoller in keyboard shortcuts doesn't adjust cider volume

Describe the Bug

When using KDE plasma's keyboard shortcuts for the media controller volume up/down adjusts "cider's" volume slider but not the Chromium audio channel cider actually uses. So using the keyboard shortcuts have no effect on the actual volume of cider media. Adjusting the chromium audio slider in the applications tab with the KDE audio menu does adjust the volume correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

System Settings > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Media Controller > "Media Volume up/down" keybinds do not actually adjust the volume of cider.

• Play media in cider
• using KDE's media control keybinds or the media player widget attempt to adjust volume.
• This will make a Popup showing the system adjusting the volume of cider while no volume change actually happens.

Anything else?

Popup with what attempting to change the volume comes up with. KDE audio menu applications tab, with the chromium application actually adjusting the cider volume.
