Kindle Scribe 2-panel mode not working

I have two issues with the Panel View. My device is a Kindle Scribe (2024). The issues are:

• Sometimes (I don't really know how or what conditions trigger this), when I select intermediate panel view (2 panels), the final document still has 4-zone panel view.
• When the 2-panel view actually works, the bottom part of every page is cut from the panel view. I suppose this is due to the way 2480 is supported.

While I understand that Panel View might be unecessary on the Scribe, would still be nice to have the option of the 2-panel view.

The kindlegen 1920 restriction meant I had to do a lot of special casing to support Kindle Scribe 2480.

So a special case like 2 panel view not working is not surprising, since the image is split into multiple parts <1920 and re-assembled later.

Unfortunately, I do not consider fixing this to be a priority at this time, especially since so few people use this particular feature.
